There’s a popular fable about a frog in a pot of water. The premise is that if a frog is put suddenly into boiling water, it will jump out, but if the frog is put in tepid water which is then brought to a boil slowly, it won’t perceive the danger and will cook to death.

The story (while actually untrue) is used as a metaphor cautioning people to be aware of even gradual change and it’s an important lesson for us to consider for us as leaders.

Tweet it out: Don’t be the frog that gets boiled in a pot of water – notice your surroundings and be willing to change and adjust. @KevinEikenberry
