Are you living by design or by default? This is a question that we all need to ask ourselves from time to time, especially if we want to achieve remarkable results in our lives. In this episode of Remarkable TV, I'm going to share with you some insights and practical tips on how to break free from routine and habit, and start living intentionally and consciously.

First, let's talk about the problem with living by default. When we rely too much on routine and habit, we can become complacent and stagnant. We keep doing the same things over and over again, without really thinking about whether they serve us or not. We float through life like a leaf on a stream, going wherever the current takes us. And while this might be comfortable and easy in the moment, it doesn't lead to growth or progress.

So, how do we start living by design? The first step is to be intentional. We need to make conscious, informed decisions about what we want to achieve, and what actions we need to take to get there. This means being aware of our habits and routines, and questioning whether they are helping or hindering us. It means being open to change, and willing to experiment with new ways of doing things.

The second step is to design our habits and routines around our goals and aspirations. Once we know what we want to achieve, we can create a plan for how to get there. We can identify the habits and routines that will help us move closer to our goals, and make deliberate choices about how we spend our time and energy. This might mean making some difficult decisions, such as cutting back on certain activities or changing our priorities, but it will ultimately lead to better results.

Finally, we need to be conscious and intentional in every area of our lives, not just the big decisions. We need to pay attention to the small decisions we make every day, and ask ourselves whether they are helping or hindering us. We need to be aware of our thought patterns and emotions, and choose to respond in ways that align with our goals and aspirations.

Living by design is not always easy or comfortable. It requires us to be mindful and intentional, and to step outside of our comfort zones. But the rewards are well worth it. When we live by design, we create the conditions for growth and progress, and we achieve remarkable results in every area of our lives.

In conclusion, I invite you to stop living by default and start living by design. Take some time to reflect on your habits and routines, and ask yourself whether they are serving you or not. Identify your goals and aspirations, and create a plan for how to achieve them. And above all, be intentional and conscious in every decision you make. When you do this, you will be amazed at what you can accomplish.
