He has written four books of his own and co-authored six, including Flexible Leadership and The Long-Distance Leader, and his 43 LinkedIn Learning courses have reached more than 1.25 million learners in 12 languages. Kevin Eikenberry finds the connections others miss, helping leaders see how seemingly competing ideas can both be right. He helps new & experienced leaders and organizations turn leadership ideas into everyday action. People who work with him describe the same moment: suddenly being able to articulate something they already knew but couldn't yet put into words.

He went to school to pursue a career in agriculture and to grow things and instead ended up growing people. What he grows best is clarity.

Kevin is the Chief Potential Officer of The Kevin Eikenberry Group, a leadership and learning company that has helped organizations, teams and individuals reach their potential since 1993. He is the co-founder of Claridus, a leadership decision platform. He also co-founded The Remote Leadership Institute, which operated from 2014 to 2024, to help leaders develop the skills needed to lead across distances.

Kevin's philosophy in business and in life is that every person and every organization have extraordinary potential. Investments of time, energy, focus and money are required for that potential to be realized. He believes learning is an active, ongoing process, not a passive, one-time event. Kevin has written four books of his own and co-authored six. He is the co-author of From Bud to Boss: Secrets to a Successful Transition to Remarkable Leadership (with Guy Harris), My Journey From Bud to Boss (with Guy Harris and Sara Jane Hope), and, with Wayne Turmel, The Long-Distance Leader: Rules for Remarkable Remote Leadership (now in its second edition), The Long-Distance Teammate: Stay Engaged and Connected While Working Anywhere, and The Long-Distance Team. He is also a contributing author to 10 other books.

Kevin writes Your Remarkable Day, a daily email he has sent more than 1,700 times, and Unleashing Your Remarkable Potential, a weekly email publication read worldwide since 2004, as well as a weekly LinkedIn newsletter, Remarkable Results. His Leadership and Learning Blog is regularly recognized as one of the best leadership blogs in the world. His Back Story

Kevin and his family live in Indianapolis, Indiana. Growing up on a Michigan farm, Kevin says he learned some of his most important leadership lessons while working with his father. Kevin earned a B.S. with honors from Purdue University, collects antique John Deere tractors, is an avid reader, and loves his family and his Boilermakers!
