There is no harder job than that of being a new supervisor, especially if you are now leading those who have been your co-workers, peers and friends. Not only is this transition and role challenging; it is also incredibly important. If a new leader isn’t being successful, their credibility and confidence crumbles, the turnover within their group may grow, and these battered and beleaguered new leaders are learning habits; habits that become harder and harder to break the longer they perform in those ways.

As an organization that was built to support, encourage and educate leaders, we believe we must focus some of our attention and intention on this important group. That is why new and first line supervisors have been a specific focus for us since 2009.

The list of tools and products we have created in the last eight years is significant – in fact we are sure no other single firm provides the variety of ways to support new supervisors as we do. (You can learn much more about these options on the Bud to Boss website.) And starting now, we add yet another way.

Introducing the Bud to Boss On Demand learning series.

In 2009, we created the first version of our flagship Bud to Boss workshop, delivering it both internally for organizations and in public workshops around the United States. In teaching those skills to leaders around the world, we have honed our messages and exercises over all that time. In 2015, we started delivering the workshop virtually in six modules where leaders could participate for 2 hours per week, with no travel or significant time away from their desk or their team.

Today we release a version of these six modules available on-demand. Now you or leaders in your organization can access each of these six modules anytime you wish – and you can review them or parts of them as often as you like. This is the ultimate in learning flexibility and allows you to take the learning and apply it in real time to the leadership challenges being faced.

This is not traditional e-learning (which has its place and we offer those tools too), but a recording of a live interactive session led by the co-author of From Bud to Boss, Guy Harris.

This is likely the most economical way we have yet created to provide new leaders access to the skills they need to succeed. You can learn more and register here, or you can reach out to us to learn more.
