Urgency is one thing, but useful urgency??
There's almost always a need to keep things moving or to push projects along. But as leaders, we need to be careful that we aren't manufacturing urgency or keeping the pace at 110% all the time.
To make sure that the urgency we're creating is USEFUL, we need to pick our spots and encourage, not press. And to further help you create useful urgency, I have three questions that you can ask yourself (and others).
- When?
- What's next?
- How to start?
