People and individuals invest in leadership development activities every day. And too often, the results are disappointing. Typically, there is nothing wrong with what they are learning. But the way they are learning it and the disconnect between learning and applying can be frustrating. What they need is a leadership development process that pairs great ideas and tools with a way for leaders to apply it all at work, in the real world.
Enter The Remarkable Way
The Remarkable Way is based on three BIG ideas:
- It takes more than skills to become a highly effective leader. It takes the right mindset, with the right skillset, and the habitset to put the skills to work.
- Learning (including leadership) is a process and can’t be learned and applied from a single event only.
- When we learn things in smaller bites, with a process for applying those smaller bits of learning in the real world, real lasting learning can occur.
Since February of 2019, we have been facilitating the learning of a growing group of leaders by applying these three principles. The result is The Remarkable Way.
This is an ongoing leadership development process, where leaders (you!) focus on one discreet leadership skill each month. We provide you with a variety of resources and tools to help you build the mindset, skillset, and habitset to apply those tools and ideas as you lead throughout the month. Then, the following month, a new skill is introduced as your learning focus for that month.
This approach connects how we learn with how we lead in the real world. It creates a leadership development process that supports both your short-term and long-term success.
If you are an individual leader looking to become more effective and impactful, this is definitely for you. Is your organization looking to introduce leadership development or are looking for “what’s next” for your leaders? This may well fit your needs too.
