Normally here each week I share one resource for your consideration. Sometimes it is something we have produced, sometimes not. Sometimes it is something free, sometimes not. Always they are things I recommend to you whole-heartedly, and with you in mind.

Today, I want to briefly recommend two resources and I’m covering the gamut of what I described above – one is ours, one is not, and one is free, and one is not.

Let’s start with free, shall we?

Cracking the Leadership Code

Last year, Dr. Michelle Pizer, an Australian coach and counsellor, had an idea. She wanted to help leaders and aspiring leaders around the world “crack the leadership code” to be more successful and confident. So she created a free podcast series called “Crack the Leadership Code.” Thousands signed up and benefited. It was so successful that she decided to do it again.

25 leadership experts from literally around the world, will be interviewed by Michelle, and they will be made available to you completely free over 21 days.

I am honored to be one of the few guests returning for a second year. I can tell you that Michelle asks great questions and encouraged me to share some really good stuff. I’m confident all of the experts (several of whom I personally know and are awesome) did the same. You can learn more and sign up here.

Coaching Virtually

More and more leaders have team members that aren’t just in the next office or cube, but are somewhere else – whether a different zip code, time zone or continent. And just because people aren’t nearby, doesn’t mean our need to coach them changes. In fact, you could argue our coaching becomes even more important when people are separated.

Yet, coaching at a distance is hard.

I know because I’ve been doing it for many years.

That is why I created this brand new teleseminar: Coaching a Virtual Team: Learn how to give effective coaching and feedback to a virtual team. This event takes place on May 7th at 2 pm ET, but you don’t have to have an open calendar then to take advantage of my experience and the tools I will share. You can join us live, or buy a recording of this 60 minute learning experience.

You can learn more, and get yourself registered right here.

  1. “virtual coaching….” sounds a lot like Fantasy League coaching… you have super stars on your team, and you can merely assess the matchups and let them execute. Fun Stuff
