Words are powerful and when we use the right words in the right situations, they can have a huge impact in our ability to be effective as leaders.

Today, we are diving deep into a word that seems innocent, but might not be when we are aware of how we are using it.

Tweet it out: Be careful with the word ‘actually’. When you put it in front of a statement of good performance, it shows your underlying belief. Need an example? “They actually did a good job.” See what I mean? @KevinEikenberry

    1. Hi Stephanie,

Some of our videos have YouTube’s automatic captioning added and a few others we have added closed captioning to them. If you go to our YouTube channel, look for the little CC on our videos. We’re working on a process going forward to have captions on all of our future videos as well as trying to add it to our past ones so that they should be accessible in the future.

In the meantime, I added captions on this video so you should be able to share this one with your colleagues. Thank you for sharing our videos and letting us know how we can make our content more accessible. Please let us know if there is any other way that we can do that with our other content.
