Today’s Resource Recommendation is Doing the Impossible: The 25 Laws for Doing the Impossible by Patrick Bet-David.
I’m not exactly sure how this book ended up in my Amazon shopping cart and then in a box on my desk. I don’t know nor had never heard of the author and don’t remember someone referring it to me. All I know is it showed up and I’m glad it did.
I started reading the book and then I wanted to know more about the author. His brief bio in the back of the book makes the book more compelling.
Left Iran with family at age 12. Seven years later was in the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. Now is he is building the fastest growing financial services company in the United States.
It seems he is qualified to write a book with this title.
The book delivers what it says — 25 laws, written as short chapters. They offer more than optimism and platitudes though; each brief chapter ends with action items and a small place to write.

16. Evangelize your message
Each law, clearly stated and sprinkled with both personal stories and historical examples, can be read in a couple of minutes. Yet each could become the focus of your thinking for a long time as well.
If you like reading material that pushes you to think about your potential and how you can move towards it, you need to read this book. Even if you don’t read many books, make this one you read this year. Finding the one law that speaks to you — and implementing its ideas — could truly move you through your personal version of impossible.
