Benchmarks are great. They help give us a way to measure our progress and/or success as compared to others and they also give us something for which to aim.

And while there are all kinds of benchmarks that we use in life – personally and professionally – today I am giving you a new benchmark that when used can literally change your life.

Tweet it out: Make joy your benchmark and strive to meet it. When you do, every part of your life will be more satisfying and successful. @KevinEikenberry

  1. I agree that this was one of the best Remarkable TV’s. Very inspiring and I think we’d all love to live each day with joy. I wonder if this would be a good topic for a series so you can help people with ways to reach their new benchmark if they’re going to strive for it.

  2. Amazingly enough, Joy is really a choice. It is possible to be joyous in trying circumstances! As you stated, you can choose to be sullen, unhappy, mad — or happy, joyous, jubilent. I truly enjoy your messages. They are uplifting and motivating, and always a good reminder. Thank you, Kevin!
