But what that means is that you can laugh at some silly bloopers in today’s video PLUS learn how we as leaders can learn from the mistakes that we make each and every day.

Tweet it out: There is nothing wrong with mistakes made in earnest pursuit of a goal. Make ’em, and learn from’em! via @KevinEikenberry

  1. The only people who don’t make mistakes are the ones who don’t do anything. The important things are understanding the risks to minimize the consequences a mistake, and always learning from them.

    1. The culture where we exist everyday may or may not embrace mistakes even from leaders. I will always want to embrace and learn from my mistakes, but peers and other people can use it as a weapon. Since Kevin makes mistakes, maybe he isn’t as good as a leader or coach? Why should I follow his videos if he makes mistakes? Is he making mistakes about coaching too? Negative cultures aren’t the best places to make mistakes…much the same in politics.

      1. Vicki – thanks for your comments. AND, that culture never begins to change until someone begins to change it. Start within your team, start small if you must; but if that is change you would like to see, as Gandhi said, be that change.

        Kevin 🙂
