When it comes to organizational and team culture, there are some things that we all need to know, understand, and apply.

  1. Culture exists. Put a group of people together for any length of time and there will be a culture. Culture is simply the way we do things around here.
  2. Culture can (and will) change. It's not static. It can change organically and it can change as a result of actions on our part or others.

And this last point is really, really good news for us because it allows us to ask this really important question:

What culture do you want?
