Whether in our professional or personal lives, opportunities surround us. However, the key lies in our ability to see and take advantage of them.

Tuning into Opportunities

Did you ever play 'Punch Bug' as a kid? Remember how suddenly you started noticing Volkswagen Beetles everywhere? This is due to our reticular activating system, a part of our brain that helps us notice things. By tuning this system to be alert for opportunities, we can start seeing them in places we never noticed before.

Flipping Challenges Around

It's easy to get bogged down by challenges and struggles. However, what if we flipped these challenges around? Often, on the other side of a struggle is a hidden opportunity waiting to be discovered. It's about changing our perspective and seeing the silver lining in tough situations.

Opportunities Don't Have to be Big

We often think of opportunities as these big, life-changing moments. But what about the smaller, everyday opportunities? Like starting that book on your nightstand, or reaching out to a neighbor you haven't talked to in a while. These small moments can be just as impactful.

Practicing with Small Opportunities

Every small opportunity we seize is practice for bigger ones. By taking action on these smaller chances, we're preparing ourselves for the larger opportunities that come our way. It's a way of building our opportunity muscles!

Remember, you can't take advantage of an opportunity if you don't see it. Start small, and soon, you'll start seeing opportunities all around you.
