Great video. My daughter commented about this approach when she was in about the 8th grade. “Why do teachers think I can’t don’t feedback for improvement, I know what’s coming after the “your doing well at…” part, get to the point.” Here is a link from an HBR article by Roger Schwartz, author of The Skilled Facilitator). on the same topic. The article gives a nice example of two approaches to giving feedback.
