  1. Kevin,

Thank you, I needed that. I am one of those two screeners. The comparison to texting and driving worked to get the point across to me. It is deadly to my success and getting things done in a quality way.

  2. What a great video! I have been a fan for a few months now and this was what I needed to hear today. While I enjoyed the whole video, two parts stood out to me. First, the obvious, success requires concentration. I’ve often noticed how much busy work is placed on my desk because it is “urgent”, but not important. I need to make sure that my priorities are in proper alignment so that I work on the important tasks that are also urgent instead of the not important, but “urgent” ones.

The second part that stood out was “If you want greater success, you have to do what others aren’t doing.” I see this at work frequently. I see leaders, who do many things well, but there are times when I rely on them to do what they should do, but they won’t to avoid conflict or whatever, and I think I should do what other’s aren’t willing to do in order to achieve the success I strive for. Thank you for these videos!

  3. You are spot on with this message! I see it every day, people doing what they call “multi-tasking” and not really paying close attention to anything. Perhaps this is why we think we have poor memories? With lack of concentration, nothing is sticking! I am just as guilty and am going to work on improving my concentration. As you said, this is in our control. Thank you.

  4. Guilty! I do notice that my work is better when I concentrate on ONE thing at a time. There are just so many distractions in the world, that it is hard to narrow down the focus. Definitely something to work on! Thanks for the reminder!
